This. If all romance novels were written just like this, I would definitely read more of them, a lot more of them!I am kind of at a loss as to what to say. I loved almost everything about this book. Omg, Jess. I don't swoon over male characters in books, but if I did, he is totally swoon worthy. Heck, I don't usually like "alpha" males in general, but he gives a whole new definition to "alpha" male, one I could like.
Gigi. I loved her. Her insecurities grated on my nerves a few times, but it is what it is. Every single instance fit the story, so it isn't a negative for me in this book.
The plot moved at a deliciously slower, but perfect, pace. I devoured the story and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was only one drawback for me. There is one scene, a bigger scene that is a big part of the climax of this story. It just felt, rushed, thrown in. While the book called for it, I just couldn't connect with what was happening and the character's personality change.
Overall, this is definitely a book so many are going to love, many already are. I highly recommend it. I will most definitely be reading the rest of this series one at a time.

The Coppersmith Farmhouse Jamison Valley Book 1 edition by Devney Perry Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I really can't believe this is a debut book by Devney. I loved every single part of this story. She writes as good as some of my absolute favorite authors. Her writing is as good as Kristen Ashley, Harper Sloan and many of my other favorites.
Coppersmith Farmhouse has every element I love in a romance. What makes a story a five star for me well start with a completely over the top alpha guy who borders on being a jerk, tons of suspense, lots of steam, awesome side characters and a little four year old that is adorable. Jess and Georgia are an amazing couple that have a rough road ahead but manage to come together at the end. I won't ruin it with spoilers but the mystery weaved throughout the story had me gasping towards the end. One click this amazing five star read and buckle up. This will have you up all night it's that good.
Gigi and her daughter Rowan, move to a small town to start over. A new life in a new town. They were gifted a farm house by a beloved friend. Upon arriving, she meets the hot and total jerkish local Sheriff.
This book totally blew me away! It was fantastic! I'm a sucker for small town settings, it's my favorite. Throw a smoking hot, hot-tempered sheriff in, and you totally got me!
I loved Gigi, she was so real to me. She had her insecurities and doubts, the kind I would think a lot of women would have in her situation. She stood up for herself, and wasn't afraid to voice her doubts and I loved that. She was strong and independent. And an amazing mother! I loved Rowan, she was absolutely adorable and she absolutely stole my heart the way she stole Jess'.
Jess first came off as a prick to me. He made some wrong assumptions and I could see where he was coming from with those assumptions. However, once the air was cleared, and he showed his true colors, I loved him! I loved how he loved not only Gigi, but Rowan as well. He was a bit controlling, and hot-tempered, but he always listened to Gigi when she felt he crossed a line, mostly.
I wasn't expecting a mystery novel on top of a romance, but I thoroughly enjoyed that! Something different for me and I loved it, because it turns out I love a good mystery! I will definitely check out the rest of the books by this amazing author!
The Coopersmith Farmhouse by Devney Perry has gotten so much buzz and let me say it was all warranted! I was quickly intrigued by the author's choice of title, but it wasn't until my bestie read the series and fell head over heels in love that I decided to begain my 2018 reads with these books.
Georgia Ellars has inherited a farmhouse from Ben Coopersmith, who became a father figure to both her and her daughter Rowen. Gigi packs all their things and heads on a journey to the very small town of Prescott, Montana. Living in Prescott is everything she could have ever wanted... But the quaint little town soon becomes the epicenter of crime and mystery.
When Gigi meets Jess Clearly she's instantly hit by cupid's bow. The attraction is instantaneous, but Jess Cleary doesn't play nice at first. He's a complete douche and a-hole as he fights what he feels for Gigi. The more the story progresses we see that Jess is sweet and caring. An over-the-top bossy alpha, but sweet and caring nonetheless and someone who would do anything to care for his girls.
Gigi and Jess' relationship quickly blossoms, but her main priority is her Roe which makes her cautious at first as she must learn to overcome her insecurities thanks to the number her daughter's biological father did on her.
This book was a mixture of epicness! From heartfelt moments, sexy time, suspense, and great secondary characters that set the back drop for the rest of the books in the series, and of course the passion and comical banter between Jess and Gigi and you can't help but SWOON!! And let's not forget that perfect epilogue!!
Devney Perry has blown me away with The Coppersmith Farmhouse, setting the feel of the series that I have no doubt will get better and better. There is no stopping now. I've become ensnared in Perry's web, never to be released again.
A little dramatic, maybe? No. Not at all... Read this book!
