I was so sad when this book ended, i need more but it was an awesome read.
I felt I knew each character personally and understood them all. No matter how grimey or sinful the character you felt empathetic. Story kept my interest until the last page.
This is an excellent read! Have not been able to put down. All other normal activities have been put on hold until I finish the Triology!!!!!!! Gail P.
The first book was so intriguing, I had to purchase books two and three. The storyline held my interest from the beginning to the end.
AFTER READING THE FIRST BOOK "THE TRIFLING TIMES OF NATHAN JONES" I JUST HAD TO SEE WHAT WAS NEXT. I HAVEN'T STARTED READING THIS BOOK JUST YET BUT I AM SO ANXIOUS TO SEE WHAT MOSES HAS UP HIS SLEEVE FOR THIS THIRD INSTALLATION IN THIS SERIES. I AM NOW READING THE 2ND BOOK "THE GAME OF TRIFE" AND I AM ALMOST DONE SO PRETTY SOON I'LL BE STARTING ON THIS THIRD BOOK. I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SEE THESE BOOKS AS A MOVIE. I INVISION THE CHARACTERS AS I READ. THESE BOOKS REALLY KEEP ME READING. THEY ARE SO HARD TO PUT DOWN ONCE YOU'VE STARTED READING THEM.
I just finished reading all three books about Nathan Jones and I am feeling some kind of way. So many emotions . You did a great job. I am so glad that Nan didn't die. Thank you so much. Wonderful job.excellent
I enjoyed all 3 of the books. At times I could not even put them down forcing me to finish reading in 2 days on one of the books and also being forced to wait weeks before my book club meeting for discussion. His writing skills are remarkable. Because of the detailed descriptions, I was not only able to envision the details but I was also able to hear them. This series takes you on a roller coaster of emotions as you get to know the characters. This was an awesome movie for the mind. I would definitely recommend reading The Stories of Nathan Jones as told to Moses Miller.
Nathan Jones "Nan" is living in rural South Carolina with his family trying to raise a son with some sort of normalcy and shield his seed from the demons that plagued his own young life. But we all know when you leave unfinished business to simmer it has a way of bubbling up and boiling over when you'd hoped that the pot had possibly run dry!
Nan is flushed out from his home and family when a dear friend needs help. With guilt and sorrow fueling his mind he heads back to Brooklyn, New York to face and put to rest those "trifling times". BUT the welcoming committee, death, is looming. Has his need for love, family, and a normal life dulled Nan's survival skills? With demons etched firmly in his aura, will Nathan Jones be able to put them to rest permanently and go home to his family safely?
Award Wining author Moses Miller intrigued readers with his first offering in the "Nan" series "The Trifling Times Of Nathan Jones". Then he commanded our full attention with the second book "The Game Of Trice". Now in the third and final book of this series "The Trifecta" Mr. Miller has given us a suspenseful climax to this popular trilogy.
Superb writing skills on all levels are showcased here and in all of Mr. Millers books! He offers intelligent story lines with an emotional structure sliced with an urban edge that has solidified his place on my top authors list!
