Victoria Danann has given us a wonderful Christmas present. What is even better, it keeps on giving because one read is simply not enough.

We get to meet some of our favourite characters from the Knights of the Black Swan Series. I can't get enough of Ram, Elora, Storm, Litha, and Kellareal. Helm is a teenager now and is living up to the promise of being another favourite. But more than that we get to have the point of view of Blackie, the dog Elora rescued and bonded with in the first book. This book is a must for any dog lover. I hope we get more from his point of view.

BLACK DOG had me on the edge of my seat. I cried a lot both tears of sadness and tears of happiness. At the end, I was filled with joy. Treat yourself and read this amazing tale.

Victoria Danann knows how to bring a story together and take you on a ride. So nice to see a couple of our old friends come to help when Blackie disappears. Elora has had Blackie since right after her coming into this dimension...she saved him and a bond was forged so tight that nothing and nobody could tear it apart. Blackie then connected with Helm, the first born. Nothing besides kidnapping could take Blackie away from his pack. Scared he didn't know what happened to him. So go on his journey, feel the pain a loss .. not just his but his family's also. GREAT STORY.
Loved this story! I have missed the KBS and this was a great Christmas story to bring back this amazing Family. I can't wait to see what happens next not only with the KBS Legends but their children as well. If all dogs were as loyal as these, then I would have a multitude of them. Love Blackie and Helm's relationship. Thank you Victoria for being them to life once more.
Oh my gosh I love this short story. This is the perfect addition to the Black Swan series. You see different points of view from our favorite characters point of view and then throw in Blackies view of things and what a fun read. I have to admit I was seeing black and ready to be very violent with a couple of guys in this book. If you love Black Swan you cannot say no to this book. Sit, stay, read.
The Hawking clan is ready to celebrate the holidays, but when their beloved dog, Blackie goes missing, the entire Black Swan family pulls together to make sure he’s found and brought home.

The Knights of Black Swan is one of my favorite series and Ram and Elora are definitely my favorite couple from these books. Catching up with their clan, including Blackie as well as the rest of the Black Swan Knights is such an amazing gift to fans of this series from the author.

What I truly loved about this book was was the unique perspective of hearing part of the take from Blackie’s point of view. The author also did an amazing job of recapping Blackie’s role in the series and how he came to be a part of the Hawking family as well as unofficial teammate of the Black Swan Knights, which allows new fans to jump right in to this book.

This book includes some fantastic twists and turns and the pulse pounding adventure fans of the series have come to expect from Victoria Danann. As always, it also focuses on the love and support the Knights and their families feel for one another. 4.5 stars for Blackie’s holiday tale!
Oh the feels! Get ready for an emotional roller-coaster ride that will leave you breathless & begging for more!
Followers of KBS already know how special Blackie is. Now we get a taste of things from his perspective, woven into hearing from B-Team family & friends again.
